Big Cat Sword Teeth Still a Mystery

Most sword-toothed cat prey is a big herbivore like elephants, rhinos and other colossal herbivores. Therefore, these ancient cats develop adaptations in the form of two elongated canines in the maxilla, due to the size of the prey that is increasingly big.
